Biography

Palash Kanti Das is the Director of Ultra-Poor Graduation Programme at BRAC. A seasoned development professional with over 24 years of experience in the areas of Poverty Reduction, Inclusive Growth and Climate Change. Social Protection and Development of Livelihood for the most vulnerable is his core expertise addressing both poverty and inequality on the ground. Prior to joining BRAC, he served UN Women and UNDP in various leadership roles at the country and at HQ. He also led Christian Aid UK as the Country Director in Bangladesh; and served Oxfam at the country and South Asia regional level.
