Biography

Dr. Agnès Soucat is Head of the Health and Social Protection Division of the French Development Agency on June 28, 2021. Her mission is to coordinate AFD's action in favor of access to quality care and social protection for all, the reduction of maternal and infant mortality or even resilience in the face of climate change. Holder of a Doctorate in Economics and a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University in the United States as well as a Doctorate in Medicine and a Masters in Nutrition from the University of Nancy, Agnès Soucat benefits from more 25 years of experience in health and poverty reduction, in Africa, Asia and Europe.
